David – German Shepherd/Corgi Cross

David is one of two beautiful short legged German Shepherd crosses we have available for adoption. His sister, Princess, being similar in size and character.

He is 18 months old and appears very intelligent. David is an adorable little man. He is keen to please and loves to play with people and his toys. Due to his age, he would adapt quickly to new people and surroundings.

Ideally, we would like them to be re-homed together as they have been companions since birth and get on very well together.

Current owners unable to keep them due to ill health.

Fully vaccinated, passport and micro chipped, ready to go.

If you could give Princess and David a forever home, please call the K9 Animal Shelter on 600 845 420.

Bailey settling into her new Home

An email received from the people that adopted Bailey, who has now been renamed Penny.  Also, photos of her settling in….

“We thought we’d drop you an email to let you both know how Penny is getting on.  She’s doing fantastic and has settled in really well.  Her new big brother Apollo loves having her around and it’s like she has always been a part of our family.

We’ve attached some of the photos of her.

Once again thank you for allowing us to adopt her”.

Chip in Foster

You may recall Chip who came to us with a really nervous disposition and would not allow humans anywhere near her.  With the love and affection of the Rescue Shelter Managers, Sandy and Graham, Chip had become a lot calmer and more settled.

Great news since then, Chip is now in foster, where she has got plenty of space to run around and is receiving a lot of love and affection.  This is a quote from her new foster carers:-

“Chip was withdrawn and nervous the first couple of days but gradually gained our trust.  She is absolutely adorable and obedient.  She loves her daily walks on a morning and afternoon.  This bright eyed girl just wanted to be loved and the rewards are indescribable”.
