Cassandra REHOMED

Cassandra is a beautiful black and white Schnauzer cross who loves people and other dogs.
She is very lively and enjoys playing with people . She is about 6 years old ,DOB March 2009, and spayed . She is used to living as an outside dog and would benefit from a home with a large garden.

If you would be interested in adopting Cassandra, then call 600845420.

Alternatively, have you thought about long term fostering.  Cassandra and others have been with the K9 Animal Shelter for a number of years, and would love a temporary home, this would also allow kennel space for other dogs in need.

Chip in Foster REHOMED

You may recall Chip who came to us with a really nervous disposition and would not allow humans anywhere near her.  With the love and affection of the Rescue Shelter Managers, Sandy and Graham, Chip had become a lot calmer and more settled.

Great news since then, Chip is now in foster, where she has got plenty of space to run around and is receiving a lot of love and affection.  This is a quote from her new foster carers:-

“Chip was withdrawn and nervous the first couple of days but gradually gained our trust.  She is absolutely adorable and obedient.  She loves her daily walks on a morning and afternoon.  This bright eyed girl just wanted to be loved and the rewards are indescribable”.   REHOMED

Urgent Plea for Foster Carers

Lucky was brought into K9 after her owner tragically died in a car accident.

She is 7 years old, fully vaccinated, chipped and has a passport.  Lucky is a very gentle dog and is fine with other animals.  As you can see she is a small dog and would make someone a very loving companion.  She clearly misses her owner so if you are interested in adopting her please call 600845420 or 610832726Lucky1

Animal Fostering

K9 CLUB CAT AND DOG FOSTERER’S NEEDED

We need foster carers to give pets a temporary loving home until we can find them a permanent home.

Fostering a pet can be a pleasurable and a rewarding experience and is essential for K9 to be able to continue helping abandoned animals.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME A FOSTERER?

A LOVE FOR ANIMALS, ideally with experience of owning a pet.

PATIENCE, animals may be frightened or anxious about a new home and need time to settle and adjust.

UNDERSTANDING, about what the animal may have seen or been through, and aware that the animal may have been abused.

DEDICATION, willing to look after an animal until a new home can be found.

EXTRAORDINARY, it takes a special person to be a fosterer and with our help this could be you.

If you think you could offer a temporary home to either a Cat or a Dog, please contact the K9 Club.
