Shakira has been Rehomed

We are happy to announce that Shakira, a beautiful German Shepherd, has been successfully rehomed by Marie and her son Liam.

Liam first saw Shakira when he was helping out at the Shelter and spoke to his mum about her.

They both came to look at all the wonderful dogs we have here at the Shelter and chose Shakira to be the one they wanted to be a part of their family.

Thank you so much for offering a home to one of our animals from all at K9.

‘Wabbit’ has been Rehomed

A British family came forward, with two children under 10, and have adopted the rabbit. They had always wanted a rabbit and liked the look of ‘Wabbit’ .

Hopefully she now has a happy permanent loving home. It’s looking good.

One Year on…. Sadie

A lovely email received this week

“Hope you are well. A year ago today my husband & I met you at La Marina, Iceland, you took us to the cattery and introduced us to Sadie.  She is a happy loving cat and has given us so much joy.  Everybody loves her and so do we.

Thank you so much”.

Sheena – Puppy

This adorable puppy was literally dumped at our Charity Shop in La Marina and is in need of a loving home. Although a little traumatised by her ordeal, she has now settled in well here at the Shelter, but would love a home of her own.

She is around 5-6 weeks old and according to the vet will be around 25kg when fully grown. She is fully weened, eating and drinking well, despite her young age.

Reacting well to initial puppy training, Sheena shows good intelligence. She is playful, loves cuddles and can play a little football too. She would be a lovely companion for somebody.

If you can provide a loving home for this little girl, please contact the K9 Shelter on 600 845 420.

Rabbit Found

Rabbit found on Urbanization El Chapparral, Torrevieja, on Tuesday 31st January.

It’s a real cutey with lots of character, and have no doubt it was loved, probably by a child (now missing their pet for sure).

Please call Trevor on 650 171 804.

Thank you
