K9 shops are both doing really well both on La Marina and in Almoradi and we have a great many regular customers who support K9 in many ways.
If you have any household items , games, clothes, electrical goods, white goods, furniture and bric-a-brac , infact anything at all please bring into either of the shops or phone 965077208 or 661350963 if an item needs collecting.
The animals we have in our care rely on your support and we are one of the few organisations that is run totally by volunteers . All donations monetary or otherwise goes on food, vet bills and the general care of the animals who are waiting to be adopted. Remember we do not charge for adoptions being only to delighted to find caring homes for our many animals.
K9 survives because of public support and donations and we thank you all for this.
K9 Fashion Show, Friday 18th April
As usual the event was a sell out leaving some people who expected to turn up on the night disappointed. The Sports Complex, La Marina was buzzing and Paolo provided an excellent chicken supper which was enjoyed by all. All the models were tremendous and strutted their stuff to such tunes as Pretty Woman, , Walking the Dog and Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress. Colin was Compare for the evening and as well as keeping everyone informed throughout, had everyone rolling with laughter at some of his comments. Entertainment was provided by Route 66 and the audience were well away dancing and tapping their feet to the music, bringing back memories when they were in their teens. As usual Janet provided a fantastic raffle , prizes included a fruit basket, a vegetable basket and of course a basket of chocolates being Easter. These baskets were so heavy it needed two people to carry them.
Thank you to all who supported the event, The Sports Centre, Janet , Colin all the models, Route 66 but especially Carol and Graham who organised the event .

With your help we raised over 600 euros.

The k9 shop in Almoradi is now open (see k9 shops page for more info)

During the course of the year, a great number of dogs and cats are brought to K9, each with their own heartrending stories. Most of them are in desperate need of food, water, medical attention and most of all a safe haven

Fostering a pet can be a pleasurable and a rewarding experience, and is essential for us to be able to continue helping  abandoned animals

We are a group of volunteers, who have been rescuing lost and abandoned animals in the south Costa Blanca for many years. Members of our team will care for the lost and abandoned animals that we find.
